Land is in our bloodline:  Every generation of the Baines family has been in the land business since before the Republic of Texas was founded. Some of the more notable developments on our family properties include The University of Texas at San Antonio campus, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Westin La Cantera Resort, The Shops at La Cantera Mall, NuStar Energy corporate headquarters, Valero Energy Corporation’s headquarters, Security Service Federal Credit Union headquarters, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and the South Texas Medical Center, plus we were one of the founders of the city of Denton and the city of Fort Worth.
